I had wanted for a long time to really try out watercolor markers. This was my first real foray into using them, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. This was done for my brother's blog (which I think he has since discontinued, but I might be wrong). Having both characters' mouths hanging open looks funny without the dialogue, but I don't remember what it was.

Oldies but Goodies
Found some old sketches. I can't believe it's been ten years for some of them, but I'm still pleased with how they turned out. Okay, so I'm a bit of a Batman fan.

Just Trying Things Out
I felt like trying a Batman group shot. I didn't get all of the characters in that I wanted, However, I didn't want it to be too crowded or make the characters too small.

Looking Forward to 2017
I think I can say that 2016 was a crazy year for all of us, and it was no exception for me. I don't think things will calm down much, but I'm planning to focus more on my art. I thought I'd share some commissions I've done.

Sherlock Holmes
I debated whether or not to post this, as I haven't decided if I'm finished with it. However, seeing as how artists are capable of second-guessing their work to no end, I have in the end determined to put it up, for good or ill. Here's an animation-style version of how I picture Mr. Sherlock Holmes.
